Hands-on - Introduction to Tapestry Weaving

Do you have scraps of yarn that you don’t know what to do with?  Join Christine Bales for a fun introductory class in tapestry weaving that will focus on creating interesting textures with fibre & stitches, plus integrating shapes (curves, triangle) into your projects on a wooden frame.  

Participants will need to bring:

• Scissors
• Assorted weft yarns: 8+ different yarns, sock weight or thicker (24”or longer)
• Permanent marker & paper
• Fork, comb or something to use to beat the weft.

Registration cost is $9 per person, and includes a workshop supply kit  (this includes warp cotton, basic weaving frame, &  misc tools).

This hands-on workshop will take place on January 28th, 2023 at Scott Manor House in Bedford, N.S. from 10am - 2pm
